
As an artist and cultural worker based between Amman and T’karonto/Toronto, Faisal Karadsheh engages in an interdisciplinary practice that spans mixed media, video and sound, installation, poetry, performance, and extended reality. With a background in architecture, visual art, and psychology, pursued on scholarship at the University of Toronto, his work is informed by a multifaceted understanding of space, perception, and cultural narratives. His artistic practice has been presented in a range of contexts, from residencies and exhibitions across Ontario, in cities such as Toronto and Kingston, to international engagements in Beirut, Bangalore, Kuala Lumpur, and Amman. Most recently, he was the Artist-in-Residence at the South Asian Visual Arts Centre (SAVAC) in Toronto, where his work continued to explore intersections of place, identity, and expanded media.
