Artist In Residence

Over the course of eight months, the 2025 residency program evolved into a vibrant space where artists reconsidered their relationship to the world and to their own practices. While each resident delved into their individual project, the group opened, organically and without premeditation, onto shared paths of inquiry: play as a method of thinking, witnessing as a framework for seeing, and tracing the political as it seeps into the most intimate and personal spaces.

Days unfolded into reading circles and writing sessions, into decolonial ritual and magic work, and into deep conversations on time, place, and memory, questioning whether art can reshape these concepts or resist the structures that sustain them. Through this continuous exchange, subtle threads began to weave connections across the residents’ varied experiences, giving rise to relationships and collaborations that reopened questions of identity, collective practice, and the conditions of artistic production today.

The residency was not merely a period of research, but an ongoing effort to forge new ways of seeing the present and imagining what might emerge from it.
